The best Indian food around Ipswich. The food was fantastic, and I loved the portion size. I would be happier if the portions contained more chicken, but that's beside the point. I would recommend anyone try Garlic and Coriander Naan and chicken pakora as starters. It is also really well-priced. Also, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I recommend this restaurant.

Wow! We found this gem of a place purely by accident when searching on Google for an Indian style restaurant in this part of rural Suffolk. We parked in the crowded street nearby and walked in to this place which does not look like anything special for the outside. But, on entering this place we realized that we had found somewhere special. The two gentlemen who greeted us were fantastic. They remained friendly, polite and patient throughout our visit. Having settled in to a corner seat by the window our culinary journey started. We began by ordering a round of drinks including the excellent Cobra draft beer, served nicely chilled, and a plate of popadums with pickles. A great start. Three of us then ordered onion bhajis as a starter. Our waiter kindly suggested that as these are so big, it would be better to order two servings for the three of us. Great advice. We couldn't finish them as they were so big. For our main courses, we ordered the mild chicken tikka masala and I fancied something hotter, like a vindaloo. On advice, however, I tried a chicken Sylheti-Jalfry which was excellent. Very hot and spicy but with pepper, onion, fresh herbs and a touch of Sylheti chili pickle. Phew! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our special find in this place. And to think that this gem of a place was hidden in such a quiet, sleep rural Suffolk village!

Without a doubt a hidden gem of a tandoori restaurant and experience, truly amazing and friendly staff. Food quality and restaurant ambience second to none and for the village of Bramford this is such a great place to try out flavours and spices from Bangladesh to your door and within this lovely restaurant. Anyone in the ipswich area would not be disappointed traveling out here to spend time with the good guys at Indian Ocean and to enjoy the perfect dining experience here. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and definitely see you again soon.

Right in the heart of Bramford village, just outside Ipswich. A pleasant restaurant and takeaway with a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was tasty and portions quite adequate.

We went on a Sunday night it wasn't busy at all this I prefer All the food was great and good portion sizes Staff were really friendly. With drinks and way to much food for 4 adults we paid just over 100. We have also had a few takeaways from here to and couldn't fault them I will definitely be returning

Had a takeaway from here tonight. I have to say it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. It has to be the best Indian I've ever had. The food wasn't greasy at all and was very aromatic. The peshwari nann is lovely and goes so well with the spicy food. Portion sizes are huge so we have leftovers for tomorrow which is great. I would definately recommend.
